This is a part-time business development position with a focus on growing our clients practice.

This is an ideal position for a self-motivated individual interested in making an impact on a growing business, working with a small team, and helping our clients reach new heights through win-win solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Proactively develop and nurture an independent pipeline of qualified leads for our Fractional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Practice, targeting CEOs of lower-middle market companies and well-funded startups lacking a trusted marketing leader. You'll be responsible for both weekly activity metrics and overall pipeline growth.
  • Deal Closure: Match prospects with our elite community of over 55 Fractional CMOs, each boasting over 15 years of marketing leadership experience, including roles as consultants, advisors, or agency owners. You will be directly accountable for building the prospect relationship, securing closed business deals and ensuring a perfect fit between prospects and our Fractional CMOs.
  • Externally Facing Thought Leadership: Act as a prominent figure representing our Fractional CMO Practice online and in person. Engage in networking, thought leadership, and external activities that enhance exposure for us. This role involves identifying opportunities to attract potential clients and recruit top-tier Fractional CMO candidates.

Qualifications

Business Development Expertise: A proven success record in business development, including a strong desire and capability to network online and in person, generate leads, and close deals, particularly with our target demographic: CEOs of lower middle-market companies or funded startups.

● Trusted Advisor: Demonstrated skill as an astute deal-maker who excels at acting as a trusted advisor, capable of turning client business challenges into fruitful partnerships with our Fractional CMOs. You have a knack for finding mutually beneficial outcomes in situations where others may not.

● Varied Experience: Experience in entrepreneurial, startup, or mid-sized company environments preferred. Backgrounds in Private Equity, Venture Capital, consulting, or marketing agency work are highly regarded.

● Independence and Initiative: A self-starter who can operate autonomously within a remote team structure and is open to occasional travel as required.

● Hands-On and Curious: You're willing to dive into work ("roll up your sleeves"), naturally curious, and make decisions based on data.

● Efficiency and Quality: You have a low tolerance for bureaucracy and prioritize speed without compromising on the quality of outcomes. You're known for holding yourself and others accountable for achieving results and ensuring client satisfaction.

● Accountable and Metric Driven: Holds self and others accountable for achieving results; Experience using a CRM regularly. Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) or similar business growth frameworks is an advantage, though not mandatory.

● Location: Remote but candidates in the Greater Philadelphia area will enjoy the added opportunity for occasional

in-person collaboration with local team members.
