Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Business Development Representative to join our expanding team. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth by identifying and establishing strategic partnerships with universities, employers, and other tertiary markets. Your goal will be to forge mutually beneficial relationships that drive sales, increase market penetration, and create opportunities for collaboration – and ultimately, success.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership to identify target customers, set meetings – and focus on “top of funnel” lead generation and business development.
  • Execute Preventia’s comprehensive business development strategy to support sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Generate a robust pipeline of prospects and manage the top of funnel sales activities.
  • Stay updated on health coaching, wellness, and mental health industry trends, regulations, and advancements in Health Tech to provide strategic insights to the team.
  • Track and report key metrics, sales activities, and market feedback to the management team.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote the Preventia brand and generate new business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of Business Development experience -- preferably in the SaaS, health tech, wellness, mental health, or healthcare.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, results-oriented mindset - with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and sales productivity tools.
