Regional Sales Executive

Parker Technology, a VC backed, tech-led services company is looking to grow our direct sales force by adding a regional sales executive to our existing sales team. In this position, the RSE will be expected to develop new relationships and nurture existing relationships with parking operators and PARCS manufacturer dealers/resellers in their region to drive additional growth. This position will report to the VP of Sales, which today is being fulfilled by Brian Wolff, Parker's CEO.

General Responsibilities

  • Source new business in your territory
  • Cultivate new dealer relationships resulting in increased referral business
  • Activate existing dealers to increase referral business

Specific Tasks

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Stay current with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
  • Provide online product demos as warranted
  • Maintain CRM system with current status on target accounts and opportunities
  • Take ownership of closing deals

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of sales experience (parking preferred, but not necessary)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • Self-starter, able to contribute to company objectives with limited supervision

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience sourcing new leads for your product or solution in a defined territory and meeting sales quotas. Compensation includes base salary, quarterly commissions based upon % to quota achievement along with a standard mid-sized company benefits package.
